- Welcome session and introduction to the program
- Overview of safety protocols and cultural etiquette
- Guided tour of the local area
Day 2: Marine Biology
- Snorkeling trip to coral reef and Shark Ray Alley
- Study of marine life and ecosystems
- Discussion on marine conservation efforts
Day 3: Friday —Conservation, Ecology, and Zoology—
- Visit a national park or protected area. Belize Zoo
- Hands-on activities in conservation practices
- Meeting with local conservationists
Day 4: Saturday —Archeology—
- Tour of a significant Mayan archeological site
Day 5: Sunday —Service—
- Attend church of your choice if you desire
- Service project
Day 5: Monday —Health Science and Botany— Zip Line Through Rain Forest, and Cave Tubing—
- Workshop on tropical diseases and health practices
- Guided tour of a rain forest via zip line.
- Guided tour of caves via river tubing.
Day 6: Tuesday —Political Science and Cultural Experience—
- Meeting with a local government representative
- Discussion on Belize’s political system and current issues
- Cultural activities and farewell dinner
Conclusion of Study Abroad Program
- Reflection session and discussion of learning outcomes
- Preparation of presentations and reports
- Certification ceremony
Day 6: Wednesday —Travel Home—
